IELTS is the primary qualification for international students applying to London universities including UCL, King's College, LSE and Imperial. SELT preparation is in high demand given the volume of visa applications processed in London — particularly Skilled Worker, Family, and ILR applicants. Cambridge C1 Advanced is widely sought by professionals in London's financial, legal and technology sectors.
For SELT preparation, London has multiple approved Trinity GESE and LanguageCert test centres. Phil Harmon at Elite Language Solutions in Southampton offers SELT preparation for London students who prefer online sessions with a dedicated specialist.
FindEnglishTeacher.com connects students in London with verified qualified English teachers. Every teacher holds CELTA, DELTA, PGCE, QTS or an approved equivalent and is manually verified before going live.
