Thandiwe Nkosi

About Thandiwe

Lots of my students tell me they understand English but freeze when they have to speak. My lessons are calm, patient and full of talking — you will speak more in our first lesson than in a month of apps.

I grew up speaking three languages, so I remember what it feels like to learn one as an adult. I keep grammar light and useful, and I always explain it with real examples from your week.

Why this works: Starts with the learner's problem in their own words ("I freeze when I speak"). Learners recognise themselves and feel understood.

What your first lesson looks like

1. A relaxed chat about your week so I can hear your level.
2. We choose three real situations you want to manage in English.
3. You leave with a one-page phrase sheet for the first situation.

Why this works: Mentions relaxed, low-pressure lessons — exactly what nervous beginners are looking for.
